OUR STORY
In the cool crisp mountain air during a particularly spectacular Christmas season in the city of Calgary, a cell phone rang loudly with an unknown number. When Gianna Isabella Magliocco answered it, she was surprised to hear it was Disney on the other end. She was asked if she might know of any producers in the area and she offered herself up for the role, but when asked if she had a company (of which she did not have), she responded that she did. When asked the name of her company, she had to think quickly, having just seen the movie The Terminal starring Tom Hanks, whose character is stranded at JFK Airport and who sleeps at Gate 67…she blurted it out, hoping that the name was not already taken (it was not). Disney asked her to produce their VFX Plates Unit for A Wrinkle in Time and so Gate 67 was born just in time for Christmas!

Gate 67 is a production company that develops and produces feature films, documentary films, television series, plays, musicals, podcasts, books, YouTube videos and other short form content for international audiences. With a base in Alberta, Canada, Gate 67 collaborates with other productions companies across Canada & worldwide, providing the best possible creative projects to our audience.
